Romio's Pizza and Pasta (Seattle)
While in Seattle for the weekend, we ended up going to this restaurant since Wheatless in Seattle was closed for the day (located just down the street). This cute little Italian restaurant is working on creating a separate kitchen to prepare their gluten free items. The pizza we ordered tasted phenomenal and the service was great. The staff are very knowledgable about gluten free allergies. They have a separate gluten free menu, so make sure you ask for that one. I also ordered cheese bread – which is made using the French bread from Wheatless in Seattle. It was amazing and being a bread lover, it was the closest thing I’d ever tasted to real french bread. It is pricier for their gluten free items but so worth it! The amount of gluten-free options this restaurant has is also something worth mentioning. Most restaurants will have a few gluten free items added onto their menu. This restaurant has a full menu where you can choose from 20 different items. To list a few, they have pizza(many options), pasta(many options), pita bread and cheese bread. Although I did not get a chance to try the pita bread, I heard it was one of the customer favorites.
